A balance between fun and relaxation
We believe that wellness isn’t all about strict practises and schedules. In our opinion, Alba Wellness Valley perfectly captures the balance between mindful movement, fun, and freedom. Here, facilities that promote physical activity, as well as recovery, abound while offering you your own private haven for relaxation. At this wellness retreat, all that’s left to do is decide which activity and spot resonates with you the most.
Channeling nature’s healing powers from the Alba hot spring and the ancient healing practices of Vietnam, Alba Wellness Valley offers a range of activities that will relax and recharge you during your stay. And there are wellness options to suit everyone—whether it’s slow movement or more active adventures in beautiful natural settings.
Water Meditation
The legendary Alba Thanh Tan Hot Spring was discovered in 1928 by French doctor, pharmacist, botanist, and archaeologist Albert Sallet. He discovered that the hot spring has balanced amounts of magnesium, calcium, and bicarbonate, and how bathing in this mineral-rich water helps the body recover from ailments and help restore vibrant health. This thermo-mineral water has stable minerals easily absorbed by the body and help with gastric acid problems, heartbeat and blood tension regulation, detoxification, and contributes to bone health as well. With water meditation sessions, your body gets thoroughly relaxed while your mind finds stillness and clarity.
Movement Therapies
Step into the bright and spacious yoga studio where you’re encouraged to be in tune with your body as you move through your session. Here, Alba Wellness Valley’s yoga teachers will guide you towards a peaceful state of mind as you unlock agility you may not know you still possess. Other movement therapies you can try out include tai chi, forest meditation, walking meditation, and gentle breathing classes. The level of intensity can be tailored to your physical capacity, and you can also choose where on the resort’s grounds you’d like to enjoy your movement therapy.
Spa and Onsen
With hot spring water sourced from deep within the Truong Son mountains, Alba Wellness Valley also features an indoor spa and indoor onsens that exude minimalist elegance. The bathing facilities offer separate spaces for men and women for an authentic onsen experience similar to that of those in Japan. At the spa, you can choose revitalising treatments such as pink Himalayan salt scrubs, green mountain tea scrubs, or body wraps that can detoxify and brighten up your skin. Relaxing warm basalt stone massages are available too. We suggest the Siamese Healing Treatment that employs the “toksen” technique which spreads energising vibrations throughout the body.
Reflexology
Also known as “zone therapy,” reflexology is an alternative form of medicine that applies pressure on certain parts of the body to achieve the desired results—relief from various ailments. Performed by expert reflexologists, they target specific zones of the reflex area and apply pressure to improve circulation, restore balance, reduce stress, alleviate headaches, and even improve digestion. Think of it as an intentional massage that removes blocks from your body to help you feel re-energised and realigned after your session.
Made with fresh ingredients produced locally or from the on-site farm, Alba Wellness Valley treats its guests to exceptional food that will awaken your palate and nourish you from within. We love their “breakfast anywhere, anytime” motto as it resonates with the overall, relaxed pace of our Wellness Holidays.
Feast on Fresh Flavours
Home to Madame Chau Restaurant and Mori Restaurant, Alba Wellness Valley offers a range of international favourites as well as delicious Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. Dine on carefully crafted dishes as you take in the views of the lotus lake or rock garden. Oh, and you can also nibble on light snacks and sip on refreshing cocktails at the poolside bar.
Relieve your tension in the hot springs
There’s a multitude of reasons why hot springs are loved all over the world and at Alba Wellness Valley, you’ll have access to the on-site 37° natural hot spring which promises to improve circulation, reduce joint stress, relax the muscles, and even improve sleep and skin health.
Alba farm and deer garden
Take a step back and experience the little joys of life at the Alba farm and deer garden. Find moments of gratitude as you pick pesticide-free vegetables, plant seedlings, pick up eggs from resident hens, and get close to the deer. Here, you’ll forget the fast-paced world outside and channel a way of living when things were slower and simpler.
Swimming pool and waterpark
If you prefer a refreshing dip, there’s also the on-site swimming pool where you can do some laps or simply enjoy the views of the surrounding greenery. You can also have some fun at the waterpark where you can rediscover your inner child.
Zipline and high-wire
Movement doesn’t just mean mindful practices, and at Alba Wellness Valley, you can have more active excursions such as ziplining and high wiring to engage muscles you wouldn’t normally be using on your day-to-day. Certainly a fun way to get in touch with your body even more.
Craft Village
Enter a world of creativity and colours that will enliven your mind. At the Craft Village, you’ll learn the traditional crafts of central Vietnam. From making paper lotus flowers, masks, and fans to silk flowers and pottery, Alba’s artisans will guide you on your creative journey where you’ll be rewarded with your very own keepsake.
Suspension bridge
Immerse yourself in the rushing sound of the stream below at the suspension bridge in between the farm and zipline area. Whether it’s for taking photos to remember your holiday or for quiet morning walks and sunset strolls, this is a lovely choice for finding moments to reconnect with yourself and nature.
